Overview of Clinical Supervision Program

Together for Girls (TfG) seeks to engage a qualified professional or organization to provide clinical supervision services for staff working directly with survivors of childhood sexual violence. This program aims to enhance staff well-being, professional growth, and trauma-informed advocacy by offering structured, confidential, and supportive supervision sessions.

Clinical supervision will serve as a reflective space where staff can process experiences, develop coping strategies, and build essential skills to sustain high-quality service delivery.

The supervision program aligns with TfG's commitment to prioritizing staff resilience and survivor-centered practices.

TfG understands that the nature of some team members' roles exposes them to a higher possibility of direct and vicarious trauma. With this in mind, all staff working at 75% or more level of effort (LOE) on the Brave Movement will be required to have clinical supervision (around 6 -7 staff). TfG would also like to offer the option of clinical supervision and/or ad-hoc support for other staff members, budget dependent (27 staff total).

Scope of Work

The selected provider will be responsible for delivering trauma-informed clinical supervision

  • Bi-weekly Individual Sessions: Facilitate reflective, non-judgmental discussions tailored to the professional and emotional needs of staff.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Submit biannual progress reports to HR summarizing general themes and recommendations (while maintaining confidentiality).
  • Collaboration: Liaise with HR and managerial supervisors on general trends and resource needs (without breaching confidentiality).
