Jessica has more than a decade of experience working with and advocating for survivors of sexual violence, especially children, migrants and LGBTQ+ people. She is trained in European law, with a bilingual LLM in international and EU law from Université de Lille, focusing on human rights and child sexual abuse. She also holds degrees in international economics and journalism.
Prior to joining Brave, she supported a campaign at the European Commission for a new EU law against child sexual abuse, created a nonprofit initiative to develop tech resources for migrant victims of sexual violence, and wrote legal checking analyses related to LGBTQ+ rights for a French journal.
She is passionate about trauma-sensitivity, restorative justice and centering victims in legislation creation.
