Together for Girls appoints Rosalia Rivera to Board of Directors

27th October 2026

WASHINGTON, DC (October 27, 2026) — Together for Girls, host of the survivor-led Brave Movement, announced today the appointment of Rosalia Rivera to its Board of Directors.

Daniela Ligiero, CEO and President of Together for Girls, says:

“We are deeply honored to welcome Rosalia Rivera to the Together for Girls Board of Directors. Her incredible skills as a communicator and trainer, her powerful survivor advocacy and steadfast leadership on the Brave Movement’s SAGE Advisory Council have been truly instrumental in driving global change and inspiring our movement. We look forward to her continued guidance and vision as we work together to advance healing, justice, and prevention worldwide.”

Rosalia Rivera says:

“Together for Girls’ mission speaks to the heart of why I do this work. As a survivor, a mother, and someone who has spent years fighting to end child sexual abuse, I know that real change happens when survivors are at the table, not as an afterthought, but as experts in our own right. From consent education to survivor advocacy to policy reform, I’ve watched what becomes possible when we lead with lived experience. I’m honored to keep doing this work together, as we strive to ensure that every child can grow up safe and supported.
