Honduras National Response Plan for the Prevention of Violence against Children and Adolescents (2021-2026).

The Honduras 2019 Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (VACS) shows that a substantial proportion of young people have suffered some type of violence. The Republic of Honduras has committed to reducing all forms of violence through the creation of the National Response Plan for the Prevention of Violence against Children and Adolescents (2021-2026). Led by the Government of Honduras in conjunction with UNICEF and other strategic partners, this plan was designed and coordinated by the Undersecretary for Security in the Office of Prevention. The actions contained in the plan focus on the prevention and reduction of all forms of violence at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels through evidence-based strategies.
