Measuring violence against children in humanitarian settings

Together for Girls, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the International Rescue Committee, with support from Canada developed guidance for implementing a Violence Against Children and Youth Survey in a humanitarian setting (HVACS). Contributions from experts in the violence against children and violence against women humanitarian space also feature.

HVACS will be crucial in collecting reliable data and addressing violence against children, adolescents, and young people among refugee and internally displaced populations.
