Zanzibar Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (VACS) fact sheet 2024

In 2024, the Government of Tanzania launched the second Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (VACS) to measure progress made since the 2011 VACS, and identify emerging trends in violence against children, with technical assistance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of the Together for Girls partnership. This fact sheet provides an overview of the data found in Zanzibar's second VACS report, conducted in 2024.
