Namibia’s first Violence Against Children Survey was conducted in 2019. Interviews were conducted with 5,191 children and youth 13-24 years old about their experiences of physical, sexual, and emotional violence. The findings show that both boys and girls experience high rates of physical, sexual, and emotional violence.
On September 28, 2021, Namibia launched their VACS report in celebration of the Day of the Namibian Child.
